About this study
This study is investigating the supportive care needs, and levels of social support and distress, in adult patients who are receiving or have recently completed treatment for cancer. Research has shown that when cancer patients are supported with resources to help them cope with the cancer and treatment experience, that they are better able to tolerate and cope with their treatment and its impact.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
Patients:
- At least 18 years of age when diagnosed with cancer, any gender, race or ethnicity, all cancer types and sites, except for non-melanotic skin cancer. Able to read and write English or Spanish.
Healthcare providers:
- Any discipline that cares for this population
Exclusion Criteria:
Patients:
- Cognitive impairment that would prevent them from fully participating.
Healthcare Providers:
- Any oncology provider who is a co-investigator on this study
