About this study
The purpose of this study is to use laser technology to see and measure characteristics of human blood samples, to prepare for possible future uses of the technology for diagnosis and treatment through a patient's skin.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria
- 18-45 years of age
- Able to provide informed consent
- No evidence of disease or chronic medical condition as determined by the Investigator
Exclusion Criteria
- Known acute or chronic autoimmune diseases.
- Regular intake of systemic steroids.
- Known acute or chronic infection.
- Known pregnancy.
- Woman during lactation period.
- Any long-term use of medications (exemption: contraceptives and possibly other medications at the discretion of the Investigators).
- Individual weighing less than 110 lbs.
- Known Hematocrit or Hemoglobin outside normal range by greater than 15%
