A Study to See if Completing an Online Education Course Will Increase Weight Loss For Patients

About this study

The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of an online education course for helping obese patients to reach and keep weight loss goals.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

  • 18 years of age or older 
  • BMI of 25-29.9 
  • two or more risk factors for Type II Diabetes 
  • a BMI of 30 or greater who are currently attempting to achieve sustained weight loss.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Pregnant or nursing
