A Study of the Adolescent Perception of Living with Type 1 Diabetes

About this study

The purpose of this study is gain the adolescent perspective on living with type 1 diabetes.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients between the ages of 15 and 17
  • Have a primary diagnosis of type 1 diabetes 
  • Have been diagnosed for at least one year
  • Use any type of insulin therapy

 

Exclusion Criteria

  • Have a secondary type 1 diabetes due to another disease/ailment 
  • Have developmental delays
