About this study
The purpose of this study is to find the long-term outcomes of patients with hyper-contraction of the esophagus and outflow obstruction of the gastroesophageal junction by reviewing high resolution manometric tracings.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria
- Adults ages 18 to 90 who underwent clinically indicated High Resolution Manometry study
- Patients with gastroesophageal junction outflow obstruction, hypercontractile esophagus, or normal studies on HRM
Exclusion Criteria
- Patients with technically inadequate HRM studies
