A Study to Analyze Skin and Nerve Cell Interactions in the Skin Biopsies of Patients who have Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy

About this study

The purpose of this study is to collect skin biopsies from patients who have known cases of chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy and analyze the samples microscopically for skin and nerve cell interactions.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Adult patients with clinically documented peripheral neuropathy due to neurotoxic chemotherapy

Exclusion Criteria

  • Adult patients with peripheral neuropathy caused by other etiologies
  • Poor skin integrity in region of proposed skin biopsy
