A Study to Understand Women's Feelings About the Freezing of Their Eggs for Fertility Preservation

About this study

The purpose of this study is to get a deep understanding of women's feelings about, and fertility decisions after egg freezing for fertility preservation.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Women who are otherwise healthy
  • Cohort 1 currently or has undergone within the previous twelve months oocyte vitrification for the purpose of fertility preservation
  • Cohort 2 underwent oocyte cryopreservation and storage two or more years ago

 

Exclusion Criteria 

  • Potential participant is viewed by Dr. Jani Jensen, M.D as being medically unstable and unfit for interview
  • English-language interpreter is required for the qualitative interview
