About this study
The purpose of this study is to evaluate if changes made to the design of the table used specifically for breast Positron Emission Mammography (PEM), will help improve the images of breast tissue close to the chest wall.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria
- Females
- Currently scheduled to undergo a PET/CT exam
- Has been previously diagnosed with cancer
- Age 25 or older
Exclusion Criteria
- Unable to understand and sign the consent form
- Unable to lie prone on a table for 10 minutes
- Exceeds the weight limit on the PEM imaging table (135 kg)
