A Study of the Clinical Presentation and Natural History of Vertebrobasilar Non-Saccular and Dolichoectatic (Types of Symptom and Brain Location) Aneurysms

About this study

The purpose of this study is to learn more about why and what influences these types of brain aneurysms to form, grow or rupture. We will be looking at factors such as medical problems, medications, lifestyle factors and how they may be a role.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Adult patients 
  • Imaging evidence of vertebrobasilar dolichoectatic and/or fusiform aneurysms

Exclusion Criteria 

  • Pediatric patients 
  • Without imaging evidence of a dolichoectatic fusiform aneurysm
