About this study
The purpose of the study is to describe the frequency with which pathogens will be detected using nasopharyngeal (NP) FilmArray respiratory pathogen panel (FARP) in Interstitial lung disease (ILD) patients with acute exacerbations.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Patients with ILD including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and other idiopathic interstitial pneumonias, connective tissue disease-associated ILDs (CTD-ILD), and chronic hypersensitivity pneumonitis.
Exclusion Criteria:
- Acute eosinophilic pneumonia and other acute forms of interstitial lung diseases including drug-induced ILD, chronic eosinophilic pneumonia, pneumoconioses, sarcoidosis.
