A Study of the Role Connective Tissue and Wound Healing Characteristics Play in Patients with Multiple Brain Aneurysms

About this study

The purpose of this study is to develop an increased understanding of the role of connective tissue structural abnormalities and impaired function (i.e. wound healing) in the development of intracranial aneurysms.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients with multiple intracranial aneurysms confirmed by CTA, MRA or DSA will be in the aneurysm group
  • Not had any prior clinical or genetic diagnosis of a connective tissue disease such as Marfan Syndrome, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome or Loeys-Dietz
