About this study

The purpose of this study is to understand patient interest in use of wearable technology for monitoring health, assess patient willingness to use wearable device for healthcare monitoring, and to determine which wearable device that patients would prefer most.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age at least 18 years old
  • Willingness to participate in anonymous online survey
  • Patients must have access to the online Mayo Portal
  • Recent evaluation in the Mayo Clinic Department of Urology within past 1 year

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Non-English speaking
  • Age < 18 years old.
  • Do not have online access to the Mayo Portal
