About this study

The goal of this study is to define what difficulties brachial plexus clinic patients with brachial plexus birth palsy (BPBP) are experiencing, what options for treatment are available, and, if treatment is completed, whether the treatment decreases their disability.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients who present to Mayo clinic with a diagnosis of brachial plexus birth palsy

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Traumatic brachial plexus palsy, patients whose symptoms resolved before 1 year of age, patients under the age of 6 at the time of the study
