Overview

About this study

The overall goal of the Olmsted County Health Skin Study is to describe the broader community with respect to knowledge of melanoma, attitudes about tanning, perceived risk of developing melanoma, and estimated risk of developing melanoma based on participant characteristics.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria: 18 years of age or older, residents of Olmsted County, who have received care either at Mayo Clinic, Rochester or Olmsted Medical Center, Rochester.  

 

Exclusion Criteria:  People who are not currently residing in Olmsted County.
