About this study
The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of liver International normalize ratio (INR) (in comparison to conventional INR) on MELD scores in chronic liver disease patients.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. Inclusion Criteria:
- CLD patients with a full spectrum of disease severity (categorized by Child-Pugh score)
Exclusion Criteria:
- Exclude use of drugs known to interfere with coagulation tests (heparin, warfarin, direct thrombin inhibitors, direct factor Xa inhibitor, lupus coagulant)
- Extrahepatic malignancy
- Other known hemostatic disorders
