A Study to Understand the Impact of a Community Engaged Wellness Program on Health Knowledge, Behaviors and Outcomes of Program Participants

About this study

The purpose of this study is to:

  1. To assess the health knowledge, behaviors, and health outcomes of program participants.
  2. To determine the impact that program attendance has on health knowledge, behaviors and outcomes of program participants.
  3. To determine the effectiveness of the wellness program on overall health knowledge and behavior change.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Wellness Rx program participants that have attended at least one programming event 
  • Must live within the New Town neighborhood or within the zip code 32209

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Children under the age of 18 
  • Anyone who is unable or unwilling to provide consent
  • Any adult who does not reside within New Town or in zip code 32209.
