About this study

The purpose of this study is to validate Watson Talent software as a useful tool to aid program directors in their task of selecting applicants to interview, reducing time and costs to review applications and improve reliability, accuracy, and precision of this process.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Adult (18+ years of age).
  • Applied to Mayo Clinic programs in the 2018 National Resident Match Program (NRMP).

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Under the age of 18 years old.
