Study to Examine Base Rates, Types, and Severity of Sleep Apnea and Oxygenation Status in Patients Admitted to the Pain Rehabilitation Center (PRC) on Opioid Medication

About this study

The purpose of this study is to we aim to examine the base rates, types, and severity of sleep apnea and oxygenation status during sleep in patients admitted to the Pain Rehabilitation Center (PRC) on opioid medication.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Subjects 18 years or older admitted to the 15-day Pain Rehabilitation Center (PRC) program.
  • Currently on opioid medication(s) with ≥40 mg morphine equivalent dosage.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Currently on positive airway pressure or other sleep apnea treatment modalities.
