About this study
The purpose of the study is to report the outcomes and complications for non-elite athletes who have undergone UCL ligament reconstruction using an allograft and to compare those results to patients who have undergone UCL ligament reconstruction using autograft from the literature
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Adult patient, 18 years or older.
- Elbow Ulnar Collateral Ligment (UCL) reconstruction performed by Dr. Camp, Dr. O’Driscoll, Dr. Morrey or Dr. Sanchez-Sotelo.
- Operation performed at Rochester Methodist Hospital.
- Allograft tendon graft used.
Exclusion Criteria:
- Simultaneous elbow Lateral Collateral Ligment (LCL) reconstruction.
- Pediatric patient less than 18 years old at time of surgery.
- Professional or elite amateur athlete (Olympic team).
