About this study
The primary purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between a technology-assisted diet and exercise program which is easily implemented in an outpatient setting and the levels of biomarkers that have been associated with breast cancer recurrence risk in overweight women with stage 0, I, or II breast cancer.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Stage 0, I or II breast cancer within the last 5 years.
- BMI ≥ 25.
- Access to an electronic device with the capacity to support the FitBit and HealthWatch 360 apps, and an email address for feedback.
Exclusion Criteria:
- Unable to complete physical activity due to known medical illness (e.g., COPD, CAD, orthopedic injury).
- Currently, has an implantable electronic device or will be receiving one in the future.
- Any condition or disease or circumstance that in the Investigator’s opinion would put the patient at undue risk, prevent completion of the study, or interfere with the analysis of the trial results.
