A Study to Evaluate Exercise for Cancer Patients at Risk of Falling

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to develop a data-driven approach that enables healthcare providers to “prescribe” exercise in the appropriate dose in a manner analogous to prescribing a drug.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • 18 years of age or older at registration.
  • Any cancer type, as documented in the clinical record, other than non-melanoma skin cancer.
  • No issues (such as ongoing unstable angina or loss of a limb) that would preclude exercise.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Younger than 18 years of age at registration.
