Overview

About this study

The overall goal of this project is to survey parents of children who have undergone proton radiation for brain tumors and collect key information that will improve the feasibility of our proposed intervention.  The survey will include questions on experience with proton treatment and opinion regarding a proposed early intervention.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Parents of children who underwent proton ration for proton radiation treatment at Mayo Clinic Rochester in the last 4 years will be recruited

Inclusion criteria:

  1. Age of the child was between 3-7 years at the time of proton treatment
  2. Child is alive at time of survey
  3. Proton treatment occurred within last 4 years

Exclusion criteria:

  1. Non English speaking parents
