A Study to Evaluate Long-Term Outcomes of the Darrach in Patients 18-40 Years

About this study

The purpose of this study is to assess the long-term patient-reported, clinical, and radiographic outcomes of the Darrach procedure in patients 40 years of age or younger at the time of surgery at one large academic institution.  

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • All adults, aged 18-40 years old at time of surgical intervention.
  • Had a distal ulnar resection (CPT 25240 or 25150) 5 or more years ago.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Individuals less than 18 or over 40 years of age at time of surgery.
