About this study
The purpose of this study is to compare the stimulation threshold and accuracy of pedicle versus cortical trajectory screws
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Retrospective Patients:
- Past Pedicle screw stimulation patients that underwent complex spine surgery at Mayo Clinic Rochester.
- Prospective Patients:
- Inclusion criteria consist of adult patients that are undergoing complex spine surgery at the Mayo Clinic Rochester site.
- Surgeries performed by Dr. Mohamed Bydon or Dr. Jeremy Fogelson in the Neurosurgery Department.
- Patients planning to have about 500+ screws (pedicle lumbar, pedicle thoracic, cortical lumbar and cortical thoracic) within their surgery
