About this study
The purpose of this study is to understand the immediate and delayed feelings, plans, and behaviors of individuals after receiving the results of genetic research testing.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria
- Provided research consent under IRB #355-06 and had peripheral blood research samples analyzed under IRB #09-003850 for a specific genetic mutation in CDKN2A that is associated with increased risk of pancreatic cancer and melanoma
Exclusion Criteria
- Provided research consent under IRB #355-06 but no samples were analyzed for this genetic mutation under IRB #09-003850
