About this study

The purpose of this study is to compare the techniques of ligament reconstruction tendon interposition (LRTI) and arthrodesis for the treatment of trapezio-metacarpal (TMC) joint arthritis in terms of patients’ satisfaction, pain reduction, strength, motion and radiographic outcomes.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate.
