Collection of Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells from Normal Healthy Donors via Apheresis for use in Laboratory Development Studies

About this study

The purpose of this research protocol is to systematically investigate the optimal conditions for isolating and culturing (referred to as manufacturing) of mononuclear cells (MNCs) from healthy volunteers collected via apheresis.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age
    • Subjects that are ≥ 18 years old.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Disease state
    • Malignancy;
    • Autoimmune disorders, but not limited to:
      • Ex Rheumatoid arthritis;
      • Type I diabetes.
  • Adults lacking capacity;
  • Females that are pregnant or breast feeding;
  • Not willing to sign consent form;
  • Medications
    • Immunomodulatory agents;
  • Infectious disease within 21 days
    • Any infectious agents regardless of requirements for treatment.
  • No blood donation within the last 12 weeks.
