About this study
The purpose of this study is to assess and compare regenerative injection therapies such as bone marrow aspiration and concentration (BMAC) and platelet rich plasma (PRP) for osteoarthritis.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Men and women age under 70 years.
- Mild to severe osteoarthritis of the hip, knee, or shoulder
Exclusion Criteria:
- Hematologic disorders
- Diabetes
- Hypothyroidism
- History of cancer
- Uncontrolled medical conditions such as heart failure, myocardial infarction, uncontrolled hypertension, disseminated on-going coagulopathy, stroke or treatment of a major active infection ≤3 months of registration, as well as any significant concurrent medical illness that in the opinion of the investigator would preclude protocol therapy
