A Study to Evaluate the Response of Dietary Therapy in Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE)

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to investigate the response rate of dietary therapy in patients with Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) and determine rates of long-term compliance with the food elimination diets (SFED, FFED, step-up), and also to identify patient, clinical, and endoscopic factors that may be associated with increased rates of success in patients undergoing dietary therapy in EoE.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

  • Pre- and post- dietary therapy histopathology must be available for comparison.
  • Patients with PPI-REE will be treated as EoE.
