About this study
The purpose of this study is to explore various biomarkers in the post-treatment tissue of patients who have responded to cancer therapy and compare it to the biopsy performed prior to cancer treatment.
Participation eligibility
Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
Inclusion Criteria:
- Age ≥ 18 years old.
- Diagnosis of Stage IV gastric, esophageal, or gastro-esophageal cancer.
- Willing to undergo a biopsy of tumor at participating institution
- Provide written informed consent.
- Willing to provide tissue for research purposes.
Exclusion Criteria:
- Vulnerable populations: pregnant women, prisoners, mentally handicapped.
- Unable to undergo a biopsy.
