Study on Quality of Life and Resource Utilization in Chronic Pancreatitis

About this study

The purpose of this study is to assess the longitudinal changes of the quality of life of patients diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis, to analyze the longitudinal changes of the utilization of healthcare resources by chronic pancreatitis patients, and to identify potential associations between demographic factors, etiology, medical history, and quality of life/resource utilization in chronic pancreatitis patients.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis based on clinical and radiological evidence.
  • Patients age 18 years or older.
  • Patients managed by the survey center and willing to participate by providing informed consent.

Exclusion Critieria:

  • Patients with acute pancreatitis or other pancreatic disorders without a chronic pancreatitis diagnosis.
  • Patients unwilling or unable to provide informed consent.
