Impact of Sensory Cart Education and Implementation Prior to Pediatric Polysomnography on Caregivers and Staff

About this study

The purpose of this study is see if the implementation of a sensory cart prior to pediatric PSG for children with sensory challenges will improve caregiver and staff comfort and satisfaction with the PSG experience.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • CSM staff members who will be performing polysomnography on children with sensory processing challenges.
  • Caregivers of children with sensory processing challenges undergoing polysomnography.
  • Children with sensory processing challenges undergoing polysomnography. (for chart review only)

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • CSM staff and caregivers unwilling to provide consent.
  • CSM staff and caregivers unwilling to complete surveys.
