About this study

The purpose of this study is to develop a resource (bank) of biospecimens (blood, saliva, tissue, bile, stool, urine, juice, biopsies etc.) and images from patients having or at risk for developing pancreatic tumors to facilitate studies on the pathogenesis of pancreas cancers and also in order to assess the ability of new tests to detect early cancer in the cohort of patients undergoing routine surveillance for cancer.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients with Pancreatic Tumors, Including Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma, Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors, Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasms, Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm, Mucinous Cystic Neoplasm,
  • Patients with Chronic Pancreatitis,
  • Patients with pancreas cysts,
  • and individuals identified as high risk (through family history, genetics, lifestyle, etc).  
  • Healthy controls (optional: blood, saliva, stool, and urine only)  - preferably spouse or partners of the patients for age and lifestyle matching. 

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Less than 18 years of age.
