Overview

About this study

This study is being conducted to understand how longitudinal workplace wellness initiatives can improve employee perceived wellness, workplace satisfaction and longevity pre- and post- workplace interventions.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria: 

  • Employees (age ≥ 18) [BT1] employed by Mayo Clinic Florida.
  • Able to provide informed consent.
  • No medical contraindications to moderate-intensity exercise or resistance training, as determined by a medical screening.
  • Patient of Mayo Clinic with active MRN identification number.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • The presence of any severe medical conditions or injuries that preclude safe participation in exercise (e.g., recent cardiac events, uncontrolled hypertension, orthopedic limitations).
  • Inability to complete study procedures or questionnaires due to cognitive or language barriers.
  • Pregnancy (optional exclusion based on organizational policy and risk assessment).
  • Inactive Mayo Clinic patient account.
