    The primary aims of this multiple explanatory case study are to:

    1) explain the use of Bandura’s (1997) Self-Efficacy Theory in the context of home automated peritoneal dialysis (PD)

    2) explain how a NP led home visit designed to promote wellness assists with a patient’s self-efficacy in performing their PD at home.

    The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the AXIOS™ Stent with Electrocautery Enhanced Delivery System in the management of symptoms of acute cholecystitis as an alternative to percutaneous gallbladder drainage.
