About this study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate long term change in tau deposits, measured by comparing new scans of 18F-AV-1451 uptake to scans from a previous study.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Confirmatory cohort subjects who completed the 18F-AV-1451-A05 (NCT02016560) study

Exclusion Criteria

  • Current clinically significant cardiovascular disease, ECG abnormalities, risk factors for Torsades de Pointes, or are taking drugs know to cause QT prolongation
  • Current clinically significant infectious disease, endocrine or metabolic disease, pulmonary, renal or hepatic impairment, or cancer
  • Females of childbearing potential who are not surgically sterile, not refraining from sexual activity or not using reliable methods of contraception
  • Has had a non-study related radiopharmaceutical imaging or treatment procedure within 7 days prior to the study imaging session
  • Has received or participated in a trial with investigational medications in the past 30 days
