A Study Comparing the Accuracy of Ischiofemoral (Hip) Space Dimensions Obtained by Ultrasound versus MRI

About this study

The purpose of this study is to compare the use of ultrasound to accurately assess ischiofemoral (hip) space dimensions to the standard use of MRI scanning.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Male or female between 18 and 65 years of age 

 

Exclusion Criteria

  • Current or prior history of hip, buttock, or groin pain requiring activity modification or medical treatment
  • History of hip or pelvis fracture
  • History of hip or pelvis surgery
  • MRI incompatibility (metallic implants, claustrophobia, etc.)
