Measuring Well Being in Cancer Patients Utilizing Apple Watch and iPhone

About this study

The purpose of this study is to understand how the Apple watch and iPhone can collect data on quality of life in cancer patients.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion:

age 18 years,
diagnosis of brain, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, ovarian, pancreatic or breast cancers in ≤ 5 years
life expectancy > 6 months
willingness to complete all research-related questionnaires
no visual deficits that cannot be corrected by standard refractive eyewear
owns an iPhone version 5 or higher (iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus) with the latest version iOS operating system

Exclusion:

non-English speaking
prisoner
pregnant
non-US residency
