About this study

This study is being done to store blood cells, genetic material, blood serum and tissue biopsies so that they can be used in laboratory studies now and in the future to find causes of the rare disorder of mast cells and/or eosinophils and factors that may contribute to disease progression and treatment response.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Mast cell disorders including but not limit to systemic mastocytosis, mast cell activation syndrome; mastocytomas, mast cell sarcomas.
  • Eosinophilic disorders including but not limit to hypereosinophilic syndrome, eosinophilic leukemia, other disorders of eosinophilic hyperproliferation (primary and secondary) as well as single organ dysfunction caused by local eosinophilic infiltration (ex. Eosinophilic myositis, eosinophilic otitis)

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Non-mast cell, non eosinophil disorders.
