Interviews Assessing Mood and Eating Behavior among Participants in the Physiologic Effects of Sleep Restriction

About this study

Adults who are deprived of sleep during a sleep study (IRB 11-002121) may have insights about emotional and physical states that impact eating.  The purpose of the study is to conduct qualitative interviews of participants in a sleep restriction study to learn about their self-observations regarding their eating motivations and behaviors.

 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

  • Enrolled in Physiologic Effects of Sleep Restriction Study IRB 11-002121

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Refusal to complete qualitative interview.
