Procurement of Normal and Diseased Esophageal Tissue Specimens for Preliminary Studies Evaluating Dysregulated Th2 Immune Responses

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to systematically analyze the function of various immune cells in the esophagus, we need to perform a series of preliminary pilot studies on sections of esophageal biopsy specimens to optimize experimental conditions, examine the feasibility of several new cell biologic and immunologic techniques, and obtain preliminary data to estimate statistical parameters (e.g. individual variability and standard deviation).
