About this study

The aim of this study is to test the validity of the current question database in a large cohort of children with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in several pediatric gastroenterology centers. 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients with IBD, seen in the pediatric gastroenterology clinic, 10-18 years of age.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Inability to understand and read English at a grade 5-12 year level, as commensurate to their chronological age
  • Research denial by patient or guardian.
