A Study to Develop a Device to Quantify Physiological Variables in a Varied Patient Population

About this study

This study is being done to measure daily varied medical data (e.g. motion, ECG, optical spectroscopy, EEG, EMG, galvanic skin response) over a period of time from a variety of volunteers. This data will be measured using a device which is worn on the front pocket of your clothing or in a strap with a pocket.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:     

  1. Subject is male or female between 18 and 90 years of age.
  2. Subject has the ability to participate fully in all aspects of the study and keep scheduled appointments.
  3. Subject must provide written informed consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion Criteria:    

  1. Subjects with a clinical diagnosis of dementia.
  2. Subjects for whom we cannot obtain informed consent.
  3. Subject under the age of 18 or over 90 years of age.
  4. Subjects who require assistance for normal activities (walking, picking up pieces of paper from the floor) or unable to follow instructions.
  5. Subjects who cannot wear the device for the time period assigned (1-30 days).
