About this study

This study is being done so that blood (plasma and blood cells) and/or extra spinal fluid can be obtained and stored for later research. Four categories of nerve disease are being studied:

1. Patients and their relatives who might have inherited neuropathies of various kinds.
2. Patients with metabolic disease such as diabetes mellitus.
3. Patients with immune neuropathies.
4. Patients with neurologic syndromes of unknown causes.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.
