A Study of Outcomes of Bilateral Total Wrist Arthroplasty

Overview

About this study

The purpose of this study is to analyze all of the variables (eg implant types, duration between procedures, etc) and the effect each had on the long-term outcomes of total wrist arthroplasty.

 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Adult
  • Equal number males and females
  • Still alive 
  • Had a total wrist arthroplasty at the Mayo Clinic within the last 40 years

Exclusion Criteria

  • Is a child
  • Was lost to follow-up
  • Did not undergo bilateral total wrist arthroplasty
