Using Technology to Optimize Child Mental Health Care In Real World Settings

About this study

The purpose of this research is to gather information from the child and parent with regards to the use of electronic treatment tools to treat those with a mental health illness.

 

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

Families:

  1. Child 5 to 18 that has been identified with behavioral or emotional symptoms suggestive of mental health concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, disruptive behavior) 
  2. English speaking 
  3. Parent willing to participate in the interview.

Professionals: 

  1. Involved in the delivery, supervision, administration, or development of products for childhood mental treatment 
  2. English speaking

Exclusion Criteria: 

Families:

  1. Presence of acute psychosis, intoxication, risk for suicide, homicidal thoughts, or aggressive behavior
  2. Inability to communicate

Professionals:

  1. Inability to communicate
