A Study to Determine if the Fluid that Collects in the Retina (Macular Edema) Changes Throughout the Course of a Single Day

About this study

The purpose of this study is to determine if the fluid that collects in your retina, known as macular edema, changes throughout the course of a single day. If it does, this may change how the disease is treated in the future.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

Diagnosis of exudative/neovascular age-related macular degeneration with macular edema present on OCT imaging

Exclusion Criteria:

Diagnosis of type II diabetes mellitus
Evidence or history of diabetic macular edema, or other cause of macular edema, i.e. diagnosis of CRVO or history of uveitis complicated by CME
