About this study

The research is being done to explore the potential impact of food ingestion on circulating DNA levels in the blood.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. Inclusion Criteria

Signed informed consent
Men or women between the ages of 18 and 81 (age at time Consent Form signed)

Exclusion Criteria

Cancer of any organ (except non-melanoma skin cancers) within prior 5 years.
Active gastrointestinal symptoms (e.g. diarrhea, abdominal pain, vomiting).
Known GI disease likely to influence digestive processes (e.g. inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatic insufficiency, celiac disease, etc).
Prior surgery involving resection of any portion of the GI tract
Lactose intolerance
Gluten intolerance or celiac disease
Diabetes
Chronic inflammatory conditions (e.g. rheumatoid arthritis or systemic lupus erythematosus) known to increase ctDNA.
