Is a greater care team NP/PA to MD/DO ratio associated with reduced cost and improved access and continuity within the care team?

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Family Medicine clinicians (individual physicians and advanced practice providers) and care teams in the Midwest primary care practices in Rochester, SEMN, SWMN, SWWI, and NWWI. PCIM and CPAM providers within the Rochester SE Clinic and Mayo Clinic Health System mixed care team models.

Exclusion Criteria: 

  • Providers at the Kasson Clinic.
