A Study ofOutcomes of Patient Specific Implants and Instrumentation Versus Off the Shelf Total Knee Arthroplasty

About this study

The purpose of this study is to prospectively collect and compare functional scores for patients who underwent total knee arthroplasty with the Conformis iTotal knee versus off-the-shelf total knees performed at Mayo Clinic Florida by the same surgeons over the same period.

Participation eligibility

Participant eligibility includes age, gender, type and stage of disease, and previous treatments or health concerns. Guidelines differ from study to study, and identify who can or cannot participate. There is no guarantee that every individual who qualifies and wants to participate in a trial will be enrolled. Contact the study team to discuss study eligibility and potential participation.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients who were included in the final analysis of the preliminary study. This includes 41 patients in the Conformis knee group and 36 patients in the off the shelf Stryker brand knee group.

Exclusion Criteria:

  • Those patients not fitting the inclusion criteria
